WITH AN ETHERNET MODULE:
- Infrared codes of all common devices (HiFi/TV/DVD/...) can be taught to iRedTouch
- using your fingers flip through the list of your remotes on the iPhone or iPod touch
- one finger tap on the photo of your remote - and the IRTrans transmits the respective IR signal
- hold down your finger - and the IR signals will be sent repeatedly, if appropriate
- no PC or Mac needs to be running for these operations!


WITH MORE ETHERNET MODULES:
- Control all IR-capable devices in your household, from anywhere in your WLAN
- Determine which remote will use which IRTrans module all over your network


HOW TO CREATE A REMOTE:
1. Make a photo of your remote, scan it, or even make a sketch of it
2. Copy the photo into iPhoto on the Mac, or into your Pictures folder on the PC
3. Use iTunes to transfer the photo into your mobile photo album

4. In iRedTouch choose the very photo as the touchable area of your new remote
5. Place the buttons on the screen, simply by tapping onto the photo
6. Teach the infrared signals to iRedTouch - a built-in assistant makes this easy
7. That's it!


IF YOU HAVE A MAC:
- Control "iRed2" on the Mac - a free license is included with certain IRTrans modules
- Use IRTrans USB modules connected to your Mac, just from iRedTouch via iRed2
- Control your Mac, change speaker volume, send it to sleep, ...
- Control iTunes, let iRed2 announce the current track, jump to the next album, set ratings, etc.

Ak som to správne pochopil tak je potreba tej škatulky čo majú na stránke a tá potom cez wifi bude vysielat infra a ovládať elektroniku? (Nebude treba nejaké infra aby presne na prístroj mierilo?)

Ak to niekto lepšie pochopil dajte vediet. Je to pomerne drahá app a myslím že niečo takéto sa od Iphonu slubovalo od začiatku a stále to nieje.

JJ zhruba si to pochopil spravne... treba mat tu IR skatulku zavesenu na WIFI sieti...iPhone sa na nu napoji a daju sa tak ovladat jednotlive spotrebice:) Aj mne sa to zda byt dost podozrive, kedze IR potrebuje mat priamy dosah (dohlad:) na ovladane zariadenie, takze podla mna to funguje len v izbe v ktorej je ta krabicka polozena...takze o nicem:) A kedze iPhone nema IR tak ani nemusime dufat, ze as cez neho niekedy bude dat ovladat TV alebo ine zariadenia

Priamu viditeľnosť mať nemusí, napr. cez deku prejde, ale cez dlaň už nie.
Aj keď tá krabička je možno silnejšia než obyčajný ovládač...

pri jednom mojom philips televizore sa dalo dialkove pouzit aj s inej izby, IR potrebovalo akurat volny priestor pre odraz signalu.
na tento ucel mi ale sluzi nokia so symbianom

Nie, som si takmer istý že wifi je nutnosťou.

Takže k tejto aplikácií treba ešte kúpiť nejakú vec čo vysiela IR?

Ano už to tak vyzerá. Bol tu topic s niečím čo dade na Kalifornskej univerzite vyrabali a to infra sa strkalo priamo do iPhonu do jacku na sluchatka. Vyzeralo to fajn nakolko by nič iné nebolo treba. No nejak to tam ale utíchlo.
